Here is the March Troop Report:

Skiing
On February 19th we went to Sugar Mountain for a day of skiing. We traveled on Saturday morning skied all afternoon and evening and finally got to the CCM in Boone at 11:00 PM. Of course we picked up pizza on the way and played pool and ate pizza till well after midnight. We even had a fire in the fireplace. On our way home we went to Mass at St. Francis of Assisi in Lenoir. It was a great trip.

OA News
OA chapter meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at Simpsonville United Methodist Church. The Spring Fellowship will be March 12th. The Dixie Fellowship is April 16th and there are still spots left. See the lodge website, akk185.org, for more information.

March
Trail of Churches
On March 25th we will travel to Charleston to take in the history of the 100+ year old churches in the city. We will be camping at Camp Ho-Nan-Waw on Wadmalaw Island. We will start the Trail of Churches at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Saturday morning. Scouts will hike to four 100+ year old churches and the Bishops residence. At each location a parish historian will share some interesting stories. Mass will be held at 4:00 PM in the Cathedral said by the Bishop.

T707 Open House
The open house was a great success with 6 Webelos Scouts and their parents visiting our troop meeting. Special thanks to the efforts of Josh Mack and his flyers and Candace for her organizing the event. Thanks also to the whole troop for welcoming and accommodating the visitor so well.

Scouting for Food
On February 5th, and 12th Scouts of Troop 707 collected a total of 566 items of food. All the food collected was given to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at SEAS. They were very grateful for the great response and the service of the Scouts.

Adopt-A-Highway
We will be picking up trash on March 19th. We will meet at SEAS at 9:00 AM and be through at 11:00.
