May - Backpacking
On May 15th and 16th we are going backpacking in the Pisgah National Forest.

Spring Camporee
In April we went to the National Guard Station in Fountain Inn. There were a lot of activities including fishing, physical fitness, compass and map reading, orienteering and first aid. There was a great campfire program with very creative skits and Troop 707 won third in the knot relay. By the way the grilled chicken, beans and potatoes were really good for dinner.

June Court of Honor
The Court of will be June 7th, a little earlier than usual so that Mr. Guirl can attend before leaving for Philmont.

Summer Camp
Summer Camp is almost here. In preparation for that we will be reviewing advancements and selecting class schedules. Camp leaders are needed. Sign up with Mr. Guirl.

Medical Forms
Medical forms are now an interactive pdf. Download it form the troop website. You can fill it out on the screen or by hand. Everybody will need a new form this year at camp.

Troop T-Shirts
T-shirt orders will be needed by June 1st. Look for your troop t-shirts before it is too late.

OA News
The final OA Chapter meeting will be Thursday, May 12th. It will include ice cream. Bring a topping, sprinkles or cookies for a fun time. The OA Summer Cookout is Wednesday July 20th at Camp Old Indian.
