The annual OA election is tonight and OA requires at least 8 scouts to be at the meeting for the votes to be legal. Please come! Thanks.

On September 9th the first OA Chapter meeting of the year will be held. It will concentrate on preparation for the Fall Fellowship. The Fall Fellowship will be held Sept. 24, 25 and 26 at Camp Old Indian. OA chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month except November when Gobbler Grab is the third Thursday. The meetings are held at Simpsonville United Methodist Church. All OA members should try to attend.

The OA Lodge will hold its Fall Fellowship on October 5th, 6th and 7th. Fellowships are a great time to have fun with your Scouting friends and enjoy good food at Camp.

The OA Chapter meeting will be held on Thursday November 16th. We will be collecting turkeys for Gobbler Grab.
Fatten up those turkeys.

The February chapter meeting will be on Thursday February 9th at SUMC in the usual place. Preparations for the Spring Fellowship will be in order. Bring ideas for Gobbler 10th anniversary patch. Don’t forget pay your 2006 dues and sign up for the Spring Fellowship and Dixie Fellowship.

The September OA Chapter meeting will be a hotdog supper to welcome all new Ordeal members. All new and old OA members should be there to welcome new members. It will be held on Thursday September 8th.

The Lodge cookout will be Wednesday July 20th at 6:00 PM at the rifle range at camp. BBQ, baked beans, potato salad, chips, iced tea, and ice cream sandwiches wil be served. The OA dance pagent and Vigil callout will follow in the amphitheater.

Spring Fellowship was a big success. Annual OA dues are due; use the registration forms in your Little Carpenter or online at Akk185.org. Monthly A-Ni-Wa-Ya Chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at Simpsonville United Methodist Church. The Chapter is working on earning the Jimmy Stewart Good Citizenship Award. Look on the web at www.jimmy.org.

Spring Fellowship will be on March 18th, 19th,and 20th. All OA members should plan to attend. The chapter spirit theme will be shamrocks and clovers.

Dixie Fellowship registration is still open. Annual OA dues are due;
